Darwin Festival is made with love for the people of Darwin and for the many visitors to this special place. It takes place on what has always been Larrakia land. The Festival began because of the resilience of the Darwin community after Cyclone Tracey and this spirit still continues today. It is a festival with deep roots, and we need your help to continue the story of this special festival.
We want to make Darwin Festival full of magical moments that you can only have here. We want as many people as possible to experience the Festival through free events and we’re constantly working to break down any barriers for people to attend. We shine a light on the stories and cultures of the Territory and invest in NT artists who create inspiring new work.

Territory Stories – support NT artists in creating new work for Darwin Festival stages
Magical Moments – help us create and bring special events and programs to Darwin that just wouldn’t be possible otherwise
Community Connect – help us keep our festival accessible for all members of the community including more free events and activations in Festival Park
Festival Lover donors and above receive exclusive access and invitations. Donors that give gifts of $100 or more are recognised in the Darwin Festival printed Program Guide and website.
