Comedian Ross Noble brings his new show to Darwin Festival
Darwinites can expect an August of knee-slapping fun when surrealist connoisseur, story spinner and famed longhaired funnyman Ross Noble lands in the Top End for Darwin Festival 2018.
‘One of comedy’s greatest marvels’ (Daily Telegraph, UK), Ross Noble is the master of improvisational stand-up. His new Darwin Festival show, El Hablador (The Storyteller), promises to take audiences on a wild ride through his imagination in a guaranteed night of nonsense.
Darwin Festival Artistic Director Felix Preval said, “We’re incredibly pleased to have a critically acclaimed comedian like Ross Noble joining us for the Festival. His quick wit, absurdist material and imaginative exploration of the bizarre is something that will really resonate with the people of Darwin.”
Set across 18 balmy days and nights, Darwin Festival returns Thursday 9 – Sunday 26 August for another dry season of the sexiest cabaret, stellar theatrical shows, hot live music acts, laugh out loud comedy and family fun.
The full program cabaret, theatre, dance, visual arts, outdoor concerts under the stars and fun family events will be announced on Thursday 21 June.
Tickets to Ross Noble’s El Hablador are on sale now from darwinfestival.org.au
Darwin Festival is proudly supported by the Northern Territory Government, Festivals NT and City of Darwin.
