LOST DOGS’ DISCO

More Info

Calling all dog lovers! A pack of giant inflatable dogs is moving into Festival Park.

Welcome to the Lost Dogs’ Disco, a place where every stray is welcome and ready to dance the afternoon (or night) away. Everyone’s invited to explore a space of light wonder and play on the Council forecourt, where an illuminated immersive installation of dogs is hanging out. As you move amongst them, the dogs’ coats light up and they grunt happily. Every newcomer to the disco is greeted as a fellow disco dog, welcomed with a chorus of barks, growls, howls and all kinds of doggo hullabaloo. The installation features a custom sound design of electronic music that captures the beauty and pathos of a dog’s life.

The Lost Dogs’ Disco is a free interactive sculpture that stimulates the senses and celebrates the important place of dogs in our lives and families.
