Online

To purchase tickets, head to our What’s On page and simply click the Buy Tickets button on the event page and follow the prompts.

You will be given an option to keep shopping for multiple events or to complete the checkout process.

You can also click on the cart icon in the top right of your screen from any page on the website to begin the checkout process. You will be required to register or log in if you have an existing account with us.

Please ensure your billing address is up to date as card payments are verified against this address.

Once your order is complete, you will receive a confirmation email of your booking – this is your e-ticket. Use your smart phone to show the confirmation email to venue staff for door scanning at performances on arrival.

You can add your e-tickets to your Google or Apple wallet. Open the booking confirmation on your phone. Below the ITEM SUMMARY section, you’ll find the option to add your tickets directly to your Google Wallet or Apple Wallet.

Alternatively, you can pick up hard tickets at the Darwin Festival Box Office at Festival Park.

Darwin Entertainment Centre

For tickets to events at the Darwin Entertainment Centre (DEC) or Darwin Amphitheatre, you can buy tickets from the Darwin Festival website or at yourcentre.com.au, via email to boxoffice@yourcentre.com.au or by phoning (08) 8980 3333 Mon – Fri 10am – 4pm.

You can also buy tickets directly from the DEC box office 1 hour prior to performances.

Transaction fees will apply for online, phone and in person sales.

Save with a Multipack 
Save 10% when you buy full priced tickets to 4 or more Darwin Festival direct from Darwin Entertainment Centre in the same transaction (applies to FourteenWayfinderParadise or the Impermanence of Ice CreamLittle MurmurI Wish, POD and Darwin Symphony Orchestra). Discount calculated at checkout. Note that Friends of the Festival discounts do not apply to tickets purchased from the Darwin Entertainment Centre website or boxoffice.

Tickets can also be purchased at the Deckchair Cinema Box Office or online at deckchaircinema.com.

E-Ticket

When you buy your tickets online, over the phone or at our Box Office counter, you will receive an email confirmation of your booking – this is your e-ticket.

Use your smart phone to show the confirmation email to venue staff for door scanning at performances. Alternatively, you can pick up hard tickets at our Festival Park Box Office.

Postage

Darwin Festival does not offer ticket postage. If for any reason you are not able to receive an email confirmation to use as your ticket, please get in touch with us on (08) 8943 4222 or boxoffice@darwinfestival.org.au and we can arrange pick up at our Festival Park Box Office prior to the event.

Ticket concessions

Concession tickets are available for the following:

  • Full-time students
  • Children (12) twelve years and under
  • Pensioner and carer concession card holders including Concession Scheme Card
  • Health Care Card holders
  • Seniors Card holders
  • BasicsCard holders
  • Companion Card holders
  • Australian Defence Force personnel
  • International defence force personnel

Proof of concession must be produced to obtain the concession price. Concessions are only available where advertised.

Entry is free for children (2) two years and under (subject to advertised age restrictions).
Entry is free for 12 years and under for Amphitheatre and Darwin Ski Club events, but you need to book a free ticket.

Community Tix

Darwin Festival is committed to fostering inclusivity by ensuring as many members of our community as possible can be involved. We are offering free and low-cost tickets to Proudfoot & Friends, Barkaa x Kobie Dee, Fourteen, He Huang, Queer PowerPoint, Big Name, No Blankets, Arrkula Yinbayarra for not-for-profit organisations, charities, First Nations and multi-cultural organisations, as well as patrons holding a current Pension Card, Health Care Card or Basics Card. Terms and conditions

Ticket sales through the Darwin Festival website, call centre or in person at Box Offices attract a $4.95 (inc. GST) transaction fee. Gift voucher purchases, merchandise purchases and donations undertaken separately outside of ticket purchases do not attract transaction fees.

Tickets to Darwin Festival events purchased from third-party ticket providers may attract a transaction fee for online, phone and in person sales.

Ticket-buyers are advised to carefully read the special conditions advertised and on the web page for their selected performances during purchasing to avoid disappointment.

Darwin Festival undertakes ticket sales in compliance with the Live Performance Australia Ticketing Code of Practice and Australian Consumer Law.
