General Info

Big Name, No Blankets, Missy Higgins and National Indigenous Music Awards are all general admission events.

No seating is provided. BYO picnic blankets and low chairs.

Gardens Road will be closed between Chin Quan Road and Gilruth Avenue on the night of these shows.

There will be ticket scanning and bag checks at the front gates. Queuing will be required.

Parking

There is no parking at Darwin Amphitheatre. Limited parking available on Geranium Street or at Mindil Beach.

Ride-share and taxis will be able to drop you off at designated drop off/collection zones.

Food & Drink

Food and drink stalls open at all events. The National Indigenous Music Awards is an alcohol-free event. Big Name, No Blankets and Missy Higgins will have a bar onsite. Glass, unsealed bottles, and sharp objects not permitted. (eg – metal cheese knives)

This venue is wheelchair accessible. Includes areas of grass terrain and inclines. Assisted wheelchair access is recommended

There will be a designated area for patrons with access requirements. Patrons with access requirements are permitted to bring tall chairs if necessary.

Accessible Entrance/Parking/Drop Off

Dedicated accessibility parking bays and drop off is available near the main entrance. Access from Gilruth Avenue only. For access, show your Australia Accessibility Parking Scheme Badge to the traffic controllers.
